The disclosure centers on UAE PASS, the country’s national digital identity system. According to the post, the system gives citizens, residents, and visitors a secure way to verify their identity, sign documents, and access thousands of services across government and the private sector. The update points to Avalanche’s role in infrastructure tied to a nationwide identity platform in the UAE, based on the company’s own statement shared on social media.

Avalanche said the United Arab Emirates’ digital economy authority, TDRA, worked with Deca4 to integrate Avalanche technology into the digital vault infrastructure of UAE PASS, the country’s national digital identity system. UAE PASS serves citizens, residents, and visitors, and supports identity verification, document signing, and access to thousands of government and private-sector services. According to the post, the digital vault lets users securely access and share certified official documents. Blockchain is used to verify document authenticity and to make sure records have not been altered. The update ties Avalanche technology to a national-level digital identity framework already used for public and private services in the UAE.
